RULES 2010 - UNIVERSONG - International Music Festival

Each finalist participant has to perform one original song (published or not published), no longer than four minutes with live vocal and a half playback on CD. (Ballad, Pop, Dance, Latin) in the Final Gala (Tenerife - Canary Islands - Spain). The song can be performed in any language. The song could have been published but not distribuited nationally or internationally for a Mayor Records Label.

Both, Songwriter and Singer must sign the Entry Form.

The Participants have to be 16 or older. The participants are totally responsible for any possible infractions relating to the intellectual right properties of the author or material of any work presented. The Festival organization will not be responsible for any problem(s) or infraction(s), being free from all responsibility at the moment each participant signs the Entry Form. If a participant is under age, the signature of a parent or responsible guardian must accompany the entry form, thus showing acceptance of the rules of the festival.Signing the Entry Form in any of the Categories allows legally the Festival Organization to use and present the work, names and images of all participants into the general media that would be necessary for promotion and for any other use of the festival itself. The participants will not receive any fee for their performance in the Festival, only the prizes that they could receive.

International Jury

An International Jury will judge the finalists songs and singers with Live Performance

The Festival Organizer covers:
Hotel , Meals and internal transport during the festival days in Tenerife only for the participant. All accompanying PR-persons, managers, dancers and other additional guests, will pay for their services special festival prices

GRAND PRIX - Canary Islands International Trophies (Songwriter and Singer) + 1.500 Euros (750 Songwriter + 750 Singer)

FIRST PRIZE- Golden "Tabaibas"(Songwriter and Singer)

SECOND PRIZE - Silver "Tabaibas" (Songwriter and Singer)

THIRD PRIZE - Bronze "Tabaibas" (Songwriter and Singer)

* A los premios en metálico se le aplicará un 15% de descuento en concepto de impuestos.

WAFA TROPHY - World Association of Festivals and Artists

Full playback of the Original Song, Half-playback (without voice) of the Original Song Original Lyrics in any language (with translation to Spanish or English), CV / Bio of the singer and 2 recent pictures of the singer
